Chris has been in practice since 2000 and works hard to ensure that his clients face difficult but important decisions regarding their family’s financial future. He helps people understand their risks by educating them to a point where hopefully these decisions are not as difficult. His primary goal is being there for his clients, their spouse and their children, helping to preserve the lifestyles they have created and the dreams they have for their future.
Chris and his wife Jennifer have been married since 1996, and have two beautiful daughters who attend San Antonio Christian Schools. They are active members of Community Bible Church and place their faith in Jesus Christ. Chris is also an active member of the San Antonio A&M Club and currently serves on the board of directors. His family has made San Antonio their home, and they look forward to their future here.
Why is the Certified Financial Planner Professional or CFP® mark important?
Most people think that all financial planners are “certified,†but this isn’t true. Only those who have fulfilled the certification and renewal requirements of the CFP Board of Standards can display the CFP certification marks. When selecting a financial planner, you need to feel confident that the person you choose to help you plan for your future is competent and ethical. The CFP certification provides that sense of confidence by allowing only those who meet stringent training, experience and continuing education requirements the right to use the CFP® certification marks. To see these requirements, go to www.CFP.net.
What does an Accredited Estate Planner do?
1. Advise you and help you prepare a personal plan to accumulate, preserve, and pass on your wealth to your heirs.
2. Advise you regarding all of the complex estate, tax, and personal planning issues regarding your personal retirement, and business assets.
3. Provide personal, customized advice with respect to all of your estate and tax planning needs.
4. Encourage the team concept of estate planning and coordinate the services of all of your professional advisors in order to provide a complete, comprehensive perspective with respect to your personal estate plan.
